My interest in photography was the result of chasing an eagle in my kayak down the Potomac River.  I had my little "point and shoot" camera, which was waterproof...but not adequate for eagle chasing.  I was so enthralled by these beautiful birds, I just had to have a better camera to capture their beauty.  Santa generously obliged!

This began my journey into the exciting world of photography.  I absorbed myself in learning to conquer many new techniques in all sorts of photography.  I enjoy every type of photography, from portraits to landscapes, and everything in-between.  Photography has been life changing, opening my eyes to beauty in places I would never have imagined.
